The Bachelor and Master of Mathematics Study Program, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA), Lampung University has once again made a proud achievement by successfully achieving "Excellent" accreditation status. This achievement was given by the Independent Accreditation Institute for Natural Sciences and Formal Sciences (LAMSAMA) as a form of recognition for its ongoing commitment to improving the quality of higher education in the field of mathematics.

The Mathematics Undergraduate Study Program succeeded in obtaining “Excellent” accreditation on May 26 2025. This achievement was then followed by the Mathematics Masters Study Program which also achieved “Excellent” accreditation status on March 10 2026. This consecutive success further confirms the consistency of FMIPA University of Lampung in maintaining and improving academic quality at all levels of education.

This success cannot be separated from the hard work of the entire academic community, from lecturers, education staff, students, to the support of alumni and collaborative partners. Apart from that, this achievement also received full support from the rectorate of the University of Lampung and the dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences who consistently pushed for improving quality, providing infrastructure, and strengthening study program governance.

Various strategic efforts have been made, including strengthening the curriculum that is adaptive to developments in science and industrial needs, increasing research productivity, and expanding collaboration networks at the national and international levels. The implementation of a sustainable internal quality assurance system is also an important factor in achieving this. Innovation in the learning process, including the use of digital technology and a student-centered learning approach, also makes a significant contribution to producing superior and competitive graduates.

By achieving “Excellent” accreditation by the Bachelor and Master of Mathematics Study Program, FMIPA University of Lampung, it has further strengthened its position as one of the competitive and high-quality higher education institutions in Indonesia. In the future, the study program is committed to continuing to maintain these achievements while increasing its contribution to the development of mathematics and its application for the progress of society and the nation.
